As part of our “Seaside” unit of work, we have organised a trip to Bridlington. This trip will take place on Friday 19^th June.  During the day, children will take part in geography fieldwork such as identifying human and physical features of importance at the seaside.

The trip will be a full day excursion, leaving school at 9:15 am and returning to school for approximately 5:00pm. Therefore, all children will need a packed lunch (including adequate drinks for the full day) but please, no glass bottles, cans or fizzy drinks. For children who normally have a school meal, a packed lunch is available to order consisting of a sandwich, home baking, fruit bag and a drink. School uniform is not required, but rather suitable clothing for the beach must be worn which should include comfortable shoes for walking (not flip flops). No spending money is required; however, the children will be bought an ice cream during the day, paid for by School Fund.

Following guidance from Wakefield’s safeguarding team, please could I take this opportunity to remind you that airtags should NOT be used to track children/people and that if an air tag is found on your child or child’s belongings, it will be disabled. Tracking people using airtags is forbidden by Apples Terms of use.
