Buddies at Badsworth School are an important part of making sure everyone feels cared for. Year 5 children have the responsibility of being buddies. On a rota, the buddies spend time on the playground making sure that all children have someone to play with, someone to go to if they are upset or someone to ask if they have a question. All our buddies apply for the job of being a buddy and discuss the importance of their role with staff before taking up the position.
