Set on Fridays, to be returned the following Friday.
As mentioned in the latest letter from Miss Griffiths, all spellings and homework will now be shared via Google Classroom. The children have been practising in class so should be fairly confident logging in and using this platform but don't hesitate to come and speak to me if you are struggling at all. It is important that every child accesses their own work as children may be set different work as appropriate to their needs. Work should be completed directly on the quiz, slide or document attached to the assignment set each Friday and should be returned the following Friday. Also, don't forget to 'Turn In' your work when it's finished so I know it's ready to mark or comment.
Thanks for your support in this matter.

Handwriting
As children are at home, it is a good opportunity to practise their handwriting. Below I have attached several handwriting booklets/ activities in progressive order. If you feel your child struggles with handwriting, Booklets 1 - 4 focus on letter formation in a plain script. Booklets 5-7 introduce your child to cursive handwriting and provides and opportunity for them to practise cursive formation to gain confidence. The last booklet can be used for children already confident with cursive formation to practise using cursive in different words and sentences. You can select the book that you feel suits your child's handwriting ability best or, alternatively, they could work through the booklets from the beginning. The choice is yours. Either way, these booklets are a great activity to give your child to do independently!
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
