Hello Year Five!
Well, I can't believe we're starting what would be your last week of school before the summer holiday. Well done to those children who, despite being home all this time, have put so much effort into making sure they're staying on top of learning.
It was really lovely seeing some of you last week and catching up on what you'be been getting up to. I hope you're feeling a bit more reassured for next year now that you know what to expect - and I hope you remembered my 3 tips!
I moved into my house this weekend so that's super exciting but now I've got LOADS of decorating jobs to do so the summer holiday has come at a good time because I'm definitely going to need it!
This week, I'm going to give the Head Teacher Award to a girl who has done a lovely piece of writing which follows the advice of 'quality not quantity'. So head over to the Google Classroom to find out who that is.
I really hope you all have a wonderful summer holiday and that when you come back, you're ready for your last year at school!
Stay safe :)

SPaG Mats and Maths Mats
Below are some SPaG and Maths Mats which the children will be able to access independently. They're a good way of quickly recapping learning done so far. If anything does come up which the children haven't done, they don't need to worry - they can just have a go :) The answers are also available below each mat and you can pick the level of difficulty you would like.
