Hello again Year 3!
As always, I hope you’re all well and have enjoyed the warm weather over the weekend. This week, marks our last week in Year Three and is a time for getting excited for the Summer and coming back to school as Year Fours! It’s also a time for reflection and remembering your best moments of Year Three and the times you have overcome difficult challenges, which you have all faced more than ever, both inside and outside of school.
We kicked off last week with an ancient Egyptian themed BANG! As lots of you got involved in our Google classroom page to show all the fantastic activities you were completing from pottery to jewellery making. The great work then continued with a number of brilliant work samples uploaded. Well done everyone! I’m already looking forward to seeing what you produce this week!
This week’s Headteacher Award goes to a boy who has produced some excellent maths, art and geography tasks and has been showing lots of confidence with Google slides presentations. Head over to our page to find out who the winner is…
This week’s tasks sees us looking at capacity, bar charts and pictograms. As well as designing our own CHOCOLATE ROOM in English and even thinking of a new greener way for us to travel in the future.
In closing, I’d like to thank you all (Grown ups too) for your huge efforts over the last year. Particularly the last few weeks, as you have had to show both creativity and resilience in equal measure. I hope you’re all as proud as I am of the progress you have made in Year 3. The small steps made each day will have added up to huge improvements across the Year.
I’d like to wish you and your families a wonderful summer and will look forward to seeing you back in school, in September.
