One last little quote to think about during YOUR LAST WEEK...
(Please comment via Google Classroom - what does it make you think? Feel?)
Isaiah 43: 18-19
So...for one last time, my little lot, I have updated the page with a time table and resources for this week's learning. I have NOT included any White Rose Maths or Oak Academy English as I have opted for several CODE Breaker activities and a couple of creative sessions instead.
I am not going to say much except this:
Despite not having you in class
for over a third of the year
We have loved every minute!
As for the SATs - we had little fear
You see, you all made such great progress
in the autumn and the spring.
Teaching you was easy,
'too challenging' wasn't a thing.
For many of you, at least,
there was a sulk or two.
But you got there in the end, it seems
Once you realised you knew!
We might not have always made you smile,
or said 'Yes' to your requests
and expected more, or pushed you hard
just when you thought you'd done your best.
It is only because we want you
to be the best you that you can be.
And knowing what your best is
so that you and everyone can see...
That you are amazing;
we all believed in you.
But you needed to do it for your self
so that you believed it too.
Don't pass on opportunities
worry 'what if...?' or 'Should...?'
remember, doubt kills many more dreams
than failure ever could!
So go, be brave, you're ready to leave;
you've out-grown our little nest.
Be sure to continue to CARE and remember,
be humble, be grateful, be blessed
